By public transport
There is a train service to the Hope Valley from Sheffield and Manchester, Grindleford is the nearest station. The closest mainline stations are Chesterfield and Sheffield. For routes and times visit the National Rail web site.
Foolow is served by bus (X65,X66 and X67), however the bus service to the village is fairly limited. Contact Traveline for details: 08712002233.

From M1 – Junction 29: - Follow the A617 to Chesterfield. Continue towards Baslow following the ‘Chatsworth’ (brown information) signs until you reach the second roundabout approaching Baslow. Here, take the second exit, signposted ‘Stockport’ A623 and continue on through Calver, Stoney Middleton, past the right hand turning to Eyam and up the hill. At the brow of the hill take the right hand turn to Foolow. Enter the village and Croft View Cottage is on the left, 5th house after the 30mph sign.
