Here at Croft View Cottage we try to care for the environment wherever possible and encourage guests to be environmentally aware during their stay.
We encourage a number of energy saving and waste reduction measures such as:
-low energy light bulbs are being introduced as bulbs are replaced
-use of energy efficient appliances with “economy” settings
-use of outdoor clothes line whenever possible
-thermostatically controlled heating and hot water with “timed” options
-programmable temperature thermostat
-recycling facilities at the cottage and in the village
In order to cut car pollution, we promote local shopping and provide information and timetables for public transport.

Where possible, we try to provide locally produced products in our welcome pack and offer eco products e.g. washing up liquid, recycled toilet rolls etc. where price allows.
